Castlebar Test Centre is located just off McHale Rd right next to McHale Park football Stadium the home of Mayo football.
Castlebar Test Centre has a 58% pass rate (which is pretty high) and a waiting time of 10 weeks and upwards. Our highly professional and experienced instructors are in the best position to help you pass your driving test. All relevant and up to date information will be provided and we generally advise a 2 hour pretest prior to your driving test.

As with other test centres there are a wide suite of routes available to the tester on the day of your test. Knowing these routes will really improve your chances of getting that all important driving licence first time!
We can meet you anywhere in the town of Castlebar or at the test centre itself. The test routes are mixed and consist of main roads, roundabouts, mini roundabouts and a lot of housing estates. Road markings in the town are quite poor and some STOP signs are not even well marked. Common faults here include driving too close to parked cars, driving too slowly and (like everywhere else!), poor observation.
