Navan Driving Test Routes
The test routes used at this centre can be particularly tricky. Even entering and exiting the test centre poses challenges. Returning at the end of your test you descend a steep hill, turn right into the centre followed by an immediate blind left. If you are asked to turn right leaving the centre a difficult hill start onto a busy road is demanded. Many of the town’s roads are governed by an intricate system of one ways and No Entry signs. It can truly be confusing to the unfamiliar or unwary driver. There are also a number of busy, large roundabouts that really need to be practiced before presenting for the test. Our instructors know the town intimately and are very well placed to guide you around the common pitfalls here. Not knowing the routes will negatively affect your chances of passing.
Traffic can be very heavy in Navan especially during the morning and evening rush hours leading to potentially frustrating gridlock. This could happen on your test but putting you at ease is all part and parcel of the srevice we provide. Hills are not really an issue at this test centre, there are some smaller inclines but nothing to worry about.
