Overview of the Driving Test Centre in Cavan
The Cavan test center is located at the Cavan Crystal hotel just beside the Dublin Road roundabout just off the N3 on the way into Cavan Town. The best place to meet is the large car park behind the hotel. There tends to be plenty of space to meet, park and run through the bonnet checks and secondary controls.

Cavan Driving Test Routes
As with many other centres the testers have a large degree of discretion as to where they may bring you. Test routes cover pretty much all of the town and the bypass. Higher speeds (up to 100KPH) and therefore top gear can often be needed here. Excellent judgement of both your own speed and that of others is a requisite on the busy dual carriageway.
