Overview of the Driving Test Centre in Woodview
The Woodview test centre is located on the Old Cratloe road just north of Limerick city centre. This test centre operates from a small shopping centre and is near both (LIT) Limerick Institute of Technology and Thomond Park home of Munster rugby.

Woodview Driving Test Routes
Between September and April a lot of LIT students park their cars in and around the test centre area making it difficult for test applicants to negotiate through narrow roads and streets.
On leaving the test centre you have two right hand turns and a full stop on a hill at a T-junction. So handbrake on. A left turn takes you passed LIT and onto a small roundabout. From there you will take the second or third exit as the first would take you into a school.
A couple of the routes from this test centre take in the city centre and can by quite difficult at certain times of the day due to very heavy traffic.
The easier routes take you right and keep you in Caherdavin and the north circular road areas.
Woodview and Caherdavin are older parts of Limerick with narrow roads around older housing estates which can be a challenge for first time applicants.
